A Streetcar Named Desire.
So, what do you guys think about the play? Stanley, Blanche, etc. Personally, I love the character of Blanche. I know a lot of you hate her, but I feel for her. I think there's a little of Blanche in all of us. And I definately don't think she deserved what she got... Does anyone deserve that extensive emotional torture, rape, and being condemned to a psych ward for the rest of their lives?

Blanche found her dream guy but the ending to that love story turned out differently, way differently then she wanted. Losing that guy meant losing her world so to speak. And to fill her empty heart she just wanted that feeling to be wanted again, the desire to be wanted. She was seeking for attention and that meant sleeping with whoever, which made us instantly judge her and with her actions (ohh) made her almost worst than her sister. Sleeping with those guys did not make Blanche lose her marbles and still had that thought process of what's right and what's wrong. We're like Blanche as we (high school kids) seek for that attention whether we're sober or drunk out of our tree. Its like you're watching me and i'm watching you, so let's go. Stella found her definition of a dream guy when we think he's a complete ass****. Stella is the polar opposite of her sister. Meaning she's attached to Stanley and desires him to the point where the definition of desperate fits perfectly. It almost seems thats she's afraid that if he leaves her where will she be in life and holding on to dear life to him seems the only possible way so she won't lose him. Her having a baby with that ass of a man puts her more in a trap. Another Stanley. Stella definition of what is right and what is wrong alters. I feel sorry for Stella. Two sisters with there own definition of desire.
