8) Should you cross the words out when they've been used?

What do you mean we have to print off the word list? Like the whole thing? Or just the ones we post?

Sorry, but someone told me there is a vocab test next thursday. Erm... On what exactly? Is it a picture matching thing? Short Answer? I don't have much time during the week to study, and I'm assuming I didn't fall asleep during class and miss something Mr.GD said... If I did, I apologize. Could someone clue me in?

If I am correct, it's every word people defined and provided a picture to on the forum. I think you have to memorize the definition, be able to put a word to a picture, matching..all that typical kind of thing.

Hope that helped.

Windex: see me; there may be a clerical error.

As far as the test is concerned: match the picture to the word. I'll give you a list of words to choose from. It's on Thursday. You're best to look carefully at the pictures and connect the words to them in your mind. This is a very new approach to vocabulary, so I'll be interested in your reactions to it. (ie: did you really learn any new words from this exercise or was it an exercise in futility and memorization?

My only issue with this is I don't have a fully functioning printer (hence the lateness in my personal response to Persepolis) so I can't print them off at home. And I can't log in at school! Something about my password being messed up... So very frustrating!

Study them online, that's what I'm doing. I'm not wasting the ink on my printer for that. No offense.

Ya, I just like to look at the words and picture side by side. Just more simplistic than studying the definition although it totally defeats the purpose... understood about the ink wasting thing though. Smile
