There has been something that has been confusing me regarding the girl with the dark glasses. Why did she kick and injure the thief for a rather sexual act, yet she was more then willing to sleep with the doctor and he never really even asked. She just accepted him into her bed. Sure they are different people but she took so much offense to the thief and none to the doctor. What does everyone else think?

Even though both acts were sexual, they were in completely different context. The thief did this to take advantage of the situation, he was an ass. (Pardon my french..) The doctor on the other hand was reaching out for comfort. In my opinion the situation with the doctor really had nothing to do with the sex, it was the closeness with another person who understood, the connection.

This is a little late but I think she is a whore by definition. The things that she has done for money in the past defines what a whore/prostitute is. Just becuase she sooner becomes involved in a relationship with the old man with the eye patch, it desn't mean that she is not a prostitute or has never done such business previously because prostitutes are people aswell and they are authorized to relationships without involvement of money.
